Biographical Summary |
Kelly B. Harvey surveyed and platted the town of Trabue that would become Punta Gorda. In 1887, he was one of the leaders of the movement to incorpo- rate the City and change its name. Harvey was an accomplished musician who played an important part in the town’s first band and orchestra. He was a member of the first City Council and a President of the Board of Trade. |
