Came to this community from England. A very gracious lady and antique curator who owned a business named the Better Mouse Trap with her friend Marilyn Hartnagel. Muriel was also a teacher who started the first pre-school and Kindergarten for the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd and ran it out of her home – The Sandlin House on Retta Esplanade, before it was moved to the Cross Street location. |
